Thursday October 9 2009, 2pm Walk around Hugh Kemp’s estate in Snaizeholme, to see a variety of trees and see progress of work on the creation of the new Nature Reserve. Refreshments back at the house with an opportunity to see the red squirrels. A maximum of 15 people. Booking essential.

Friday December 11 2009, 7:30 pm Carol Singing at Gayle Mill , in the sunken yard if the night is dry, with Hawes Band and Young Voices. Seasonal refreshments with donations to cover expenses. There will also be a raffle.
Wednesday April 15 2009, 7:30 pm “A Mole’s Night Out”, an illustrated talk by Gerard Marsh of Yordale Mines and Caving Group. At Gayle Mill. Admission (to include light refreshments) £5 adults, £3 children under 16.

Friday November 30, 2007 Half-year Update and Social Evening at The Wensleydale Creamery, Hawes. Paul Bisson, the newly appointed Mill Manager will speak on the latest activities at the Mill, and Dr Malcolm Hamer will show a short video of recent work done on the water power system. There will be a hot-pot supper (available only by booking in advance) and cash bar.
Saturday 17 and Saturday 24 November 2007 Volunteer Open Days at the Mill Find out if you could help visitors enjoy this unique piece of Dales history. Come and see what's been going on and have a chat with us about using your interests and skills as part of our new volunteer team. You could become one of our guides. Friday June 8, 2007 at 7:30pm. AGM at the Wensleydale Creamery. Following the business meeting and various reports by the officials, the main speaker will be Nick Pike, Managing Director of Gilkes of Kendal, the company who have recently refurbished the two historic turbines, and built and installed the new turbine at the Mill. Refreshments and a cash bar will be available.
Saturday 19 May 2007, 10am - 4pm WOOD-MIZER DEMONSTRATION On Saturday 19th May, Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust is holding an event at Freeholders Wood, Aysgarth, to celebrate their tenth anniversary. Gayle Mill Trust will be demonstrating the Wood-Mizer, which was purchased with a grant from YDMT.
